Privacy policy
How we look after your personal information. Last updated July 2026.
Lil Miss Bumba ("we", "us") is based in Ipswich, Suffolk. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Lil Miss Bumba, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 5BA. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at vibe@lilmissbumba.com or on 07450 730962.
What we collect and why
- Bookings. Classes, gong baths and events are booked through Bookwhen. When you book, Bookwhen collects your name, contact details, payment information and any health or accessibility notes you choose to share so that we can run your session safely. We can see your booking details but never your full payment card information. Bookwhen processes this data as described in its own privacy policy.
- Newsletter. If you sign up to hear from us, we store your email address and use it only to send you Bumba news and dates. Every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by messaging us.
- Enquiries. If you email, call, text or WhatsApp us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
- Care home and event bookings. For business enquiries, we keep contact names, organisation details and correspondence for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
Our lawful bases
- Contract: processing your booking and running the session you've paid for.
- Consent: sending you the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and keeping simple business records.
- Legal obligation: keeping records we're required to keep, such as accounting records.
Who we share data with
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We share data only with the service providers who help us run the business, principally Bookwhen (bookings and payments), and only what they need to do their job. If the law requires it, we may share information with authorities.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as Bookwhen and accounting rules require. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry messages are deleted once they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent where consent is our basis for using it. To exercise any of these rights, email vibe@lilmissbumba.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated and, where required, we will ask for your consent first.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged in the newsletter.
